Financial District

New York

Located in TriBeCa, The Roxy Hotel is home to a 1920s themed hotel, multiple jazz bars (including The Django) and the Roxy Cinema. We visited here for a NYC staycation and truly couldn't have asked for more out of a visit. We would almost not recommend it to those visiting NYC for the first time because you'll never want to leave the hotel - it truly has everything in store that you could ever want all the way down to a vintage film photography booth in the lobby (that was unfortunately not working during our visit). The hotel is constantly hosting events and musicians to play into its 1920s-esque vibes and worth tending a visit to, even if you're not frequenting as a guest. The Django is the hotel's famed jazz bar located on the bottom level and featuring extremely talented + decorated musicians from around the world. There is a cover charge + minimum spend, so you can expect your visit here to be on the pricier side despite the food just being ~fine~, however, we'd dare to say that it's worth it for the experience and exposure of listening in on some of the most talented musicians you can find.
