We had to hit New Haven for some of their famous "apizza" on our way to Boston and see what all the fuss was about. We chose Sally's over Frank Pepe's or Modern mostly because it was the least out of our way but we'd find it hard to believe that anywhere else would hold a candle to Sally's - it was as classic and as delicious a pizza experience could be. From the wood grained dining booths and neon business sign to the crispy crust and world class tomato sauce, there's not much we'd change about this perfect pizza experience.
