Mono+Mono has gone viral on social media a number of times now which made us weary going into it but we can confidently say that they don't make too many places like this anymore. Mono + Mono has character at the deepest level - from its plant filled room to its gallery of books + date night nooks, it's a truly magical + refreshing experience nestled into the hustle and bustle of the East Village. Mono + Mono is known for their fried chicken and it truly exceeded every expectation - offering crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, bursting with flavor wings and when we go back it'll be the only thing we order off of the menu. We can't think of a better date night spot but be sure to bring cash or an AMEX as that is the only payment methods accepted at this time (there is an ATM machine in the back of the restaurant near the bathrooms should you need it!).
