Admittedly, we've only ventured here for their weekend brunch so cannot write about their dinner experience at this time but their brunch might be our favorite on the Jersey side of the Hudson. The restaurant offers sweeping views of Manhattan, a funky, modern aesthetic and an outdoor patio. "Keeping to its namesake, the restaurant incorporates fresh and locally sourced ingredients from the Garden State" (per OpenTable), and we love to support local business. Lokal is the best choice around for large group meals accompanied with a buzzy atmosphere and global cuisine. Their mac and cheese absolutely rocks our world, which is difficult for something as mundane and common as mac and cheese to do. We also loved sharing their Ricotta Toast, Croque Monsieur, and Oysters with our table.
