A favorite New York museum of ours, the American Museum of Natural History gives you a glimpse into human culture, the natural world and the universe with some of the most spectacular exhibits. Dinosaur fossils, a size comparison planetary dome of our universe, and the butterfly conservatory (open Nov-May) are some of our favorite experiences that can be found at AMNH. You can spend a few hours or all day exploring.
