A cozy hotel in Zermatt with views of the Matterhorn - this combined spa, hotel + restaurant is a great spot to help you escape the bitter cold of the Swiss Alps. Located a short walk from the main station, as well as the Sunnegga it's an easy stop to steal away on your snow globe vacation. We stayed in the Alpine Junior Suite, which was located in a separate, more newly-renovated building accessible via underground tunnel to the main lobby. The lobby + associated restaurant here are worth a visit in and of themselves with an ornate bar, wood burning fireplace and big glass windows overlooking the Matterhorn. The hotel breakfast was a delightful addition to our stay. Overall, a stay here is a solid option for your travels to Zermatt.
