Our favorite hotel that we stayed at throughout our entire European vacation. Hotel Ameron has it all - great location, beautiful + updated interiors, lake views, delightful staff and a delicious hotel breakfast. We'll be staying here any time we visit Zurich in the future. The hotel was incredibly easy to get to via the public transportation trams, a short walk to the plaza in front of the Opera House (which had the best Christmas Market in Zurich while we were there), but just far enough removed from the main hustle and bustle of the city that we slept like a rock every night - it also didn't hurt that the soundproofing in the rooms here were wonderful. We booked the premium double room with lake view and it was perfect for our trip - allowed us the space to spread out for the few days we were there, a desk to work from home from + a balcony to enjoy our coffees overlooking the lake. Not to mention that we were lucky enough to check in to our room a few hours early after a red-eye flight. We will definitely be staying here again.
